We want everyone to be able to use this website and to come into our building comfortably. Here is where we stand, honestly.

Our website

We built this site to meet WCAG 2.1 AA where we can. If you hit something that does not work with your screen reader, your keyboard, or a magnifier, please tell us. We will fix it, and we would like to know.

Sensory needs

Our space is built for nervous systems that are easily overwhelmed. The lighting is full spectrum and can be turned down, sound can be reduced, and you are welcome to bring whatever helps — headphones, a weighted blanket, a familiar toy. We have weighted blankets here too.

Service animals, support people, and loved ones

All welcome, always.

Coming to see us

We are in an historic home on the corner of 13th and Cumberland. Clients may park on the street on either side of either road, and there is accessible parking at the back of the building.

If stairs are difficult for you, tell us when you book. When we know ahead of time, we can often hold the session in one of our downstairs offices instead. If there is anything else about getting in and around the building you need to know before a first visit, ask us and we will talk it through honestly.

Asking for something

If there is an adjustment that would make coming here easier, tell us. Use the form on our Hello and Welcome page and choose I need an accessibility adjustment, email connection@joyousot.team, or call us.

You do not need to explain why.
