Our Otter Logo
At Joyous OT, our otter logo is a reflection of the values we hold dear—connection, joy, and playfulness. Otters are known for their strong family bonds, playful nature, and love of water, which parallels the fluidity of movement and joy we aim to foster in therapy. Just as otters share moments of joy with one another, we believe in creating an environment where clients and families feel supported, engaged, and encouraged to thrive together.
This special logo was created by local artist Veraine Coppy, whose artwork beautifully captures the essence of the otter’s playful spirit and strong sense of family. We are proud to showcase her work as a symbol of the joy and connection we strive to cultivate in every session.
In keeping with the otter’s spirit of fun and togetherness, we offer a game and puzzle library for our clients to borrow. These tools are not just for play—they’re a way for families to continue their therapeutic journey at home, building skills in a supportive and engaging environment. We also recognize the vital role parents play in therapy, which is why we support therapeutic parenting throughout our sessions. By involving parents and caregivers in the process, we help strengthen the connection among family members, ensuring that therapeutic strategies become a natural part of daily life.
Just like the otter who thrives through connection, joy, and shared experiences, our approach to therapy emphasizes play, laughter, and meaningful relationships. Every session is an opportunity to grow, bond, and have fun as a family, and we’re here to support that every step of the way.
